A Week Away...

Hi!
I'm now in Wales!! We have been here about 4 days so far and have enjoyed every minute... except perhaps the jet lag that first night. We toured around London; the Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Trafolger Square, and of course the Underground. It was all fantastic although very expensive. In most places the exchange rate is $1.89 for £1. Which means all the prices seem double.
Yesterday we departed London on a train that took us to Cardiff, the capital of Wales. After a noisy night in the center of the city, we rented a car and headed south along the coast. Driving here is a stressful adrenaline rush full of cries from all the passengers of "STAY LEFT!!" We are now heading to Brecon to stay with some friends for a night or two.
We will head back this way in about a week to drop me off at the Atlantic College... so soon!!

Enjoying all the accents!!

Hey! I cannot believe that you are on the other side of the world! I am so glad that you got there safe and had fun with your family, (I ran into your mom at Oktoberfest and she said that you had a good trip). I hope you've had a pleasant time moving in and getting to know everyone. Everyone here misses you so much, and looks forward to seeing you for winter break. Keep in touch and let me know how everything is and how you are getting along. I must say, school for me is very lonely without you. I just doesn't feel the same. But I hope that you are not missing home too much because there is so much to learn and explore in a new country. Best Wishes, Lindsay
