Long Weekend... and now the final long haul!

Quick Note:
Long weekend comes to an end now this Monday night as I frantically try to finish my Environmental systems Practical that's due tomorrow along with my math worksheet and my English World Literature paper... two of which already count toward my final IB score! Ah! Way to leave it to the last minute, right? I try to justify this by telling myself that I work better under pressure which may be at least partially true!
I spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at my link family's house. On friday we went into Cardiff and went shopping then we went home and washed and pampared the horses. On Saturday we slept in then set up several jumps in their field and jumped the horses for about an hour.... so much fun! I miss horses here! That night I made them all fajitas (the only thing I could find ingredients for that was remotely New mexican) and laughed at them watching me in awe as I smothered mine in red enchilada sauce and green chilli I had brought from home. "How hot is this for you on a scale from 1 - 10?" they asked me. "About a 5 or 6" I said. "What!? This is, like, a 12 for me!" they replied as they gulped down the water. I just laughed and enjoyed my wonderful food that actually had taste for once.
On Easter Sunday we slept in again (wonderful!), and then went on an easter egg hunt. I haven't done one of those in a long time! It was fun and I ended up eating far too much chocolate! We followed that by a big Easter lunch with the whole family (including their grandmother and the three dogs under the table) and then back to college I came. Tomorrow its back to classes. Whew. I hardly feel rested... will I ever though? I seem unable to stop!
