Update

Hello All!
I'm so sorry about the lack of updates on here! I'd like to blame it on the fact that my laptop has been down but I've still managed to check my email on the school computers here in the castle so it's really not a very good excuse. It is the reason there has yet to be any pictures though.
Basically, these last few weeks have been amazing. Each Monday we all crawl out of bed for an early morning code groaning pathetically. However, by Friday evening I'm simply wondering where the week went! We only have a few weeks before project week in Vienna so Chior has been hustling to learn all the pieces we will be performing! It's coming down to the wire and our conductor's nerves are on end! I hope we can pull it together soon... we're all getting a bit nervous.
Last weekend was ACMUN which was big weekend long session of Model United Nations. Several students from the Norwegian and Italian and new Bosnian UWCs came and participated. It was really cool to talk to some UWC students not from AC and compare notes. We found as many similarities as we did differences... isn't that what International Understanding is all about?
Next weekend is prom. Prom is so typically American, I've been bombarded with questions. Apparently most countries don't have a prom but they all know all about it from the movies. GReeat! That's what they think of America... no wonder. It'll be fun though... getting dressed up and eating nice food. I'm looking forward to it though feel the whole prom... thing... is rather overrated. Its all for a good time and just relaxing away from school work. ;)
I'm still frantically trying to collect donations for my trip (which is pretty much finalized!) to Jordan this summer. I need to raise about $1000 and I think I'm almost halfway there... I can't wait for the trip though... it is going to be absolutely incredible!
After project week at the beginning of March, I'm going to be helping with an AC musical production. We've put together famous musical songs and written our own script. It's going to be so fun... I'm looking forward to it.
And in April I've been asked to host the annual International Show. This is a big deal here. It's basically a student organised show that the outside public is invited to that ultimatly raises money for Save the Children. I'm really honored they have asked me to do the MCing for this.
I have to run now to get my laundry and then to the gym for a bit but I'll really do mean to post pictures on here soon... so keep checking!

Blessings and much love,
Malia
