The Next Phase about to Start...
To all my devoted readers, friends, and family who continue to check in hope I have posted something new...
I am now in the North East US looking at universities but will be heading back on a flight much shorter than that from New Mexico to Heathrow airport Terminal 3 to be picked up by the school coach. I can't wait to see everyone and I'm really looking forward to being a second year. We have all of August to just appreciate our year then in September our first years arrive, scared and wary of the new school they'll come to love. It'll be my job as peer listener to herd my little group of first years around to all of their induction activities and hopefully provide comfort. I'm looking forward to it. The other night I had a dream that all my firsties were only five years old when they arrived. It was more of a nightmare actually! I figured nothing can be worse than that... ;)
Hope to keep you all updated this year like I did last year. The workload will increase I know but this might provide a well earned reprieve from the monotony of school work. Please feel free to ask questions to help me write about what you want to hear and also leave me little comments! I love to hear from home!
Much Love,
Malia

Once again: THANKS for the great blogs. I'm looking forward to another year of adventures! Luv ya!! -Elaine
I'd like to hear more about your classes, what you are reading and writing for them, and what will be the topic of your research paper. Do you have a completely new set of teachers this year? What classes will you be taking?
Also, maybe in a private email, I would love to know your impressions of the various colleges you visited.
I'm sorry I didn't get to see you when you were stateside. Grandma says hi!
