Long Weekend

Hey Everyone!
I'm sorry it's been so long since I last posted! There's been a ton going on. Right now it's midterm break. Can you believe I've been here for six weeks?!? I've only got six weeks left and then I come home for a five week winter break, I'll be back on the 8th of December. Crazy to think it's been that much time!
For the break(they call it Long Weekend) I spent three of my four nights with my link family. Real food, soft beds, horses, and relaxation. On Friday my link sister, Harriett, and Kine from Norway, and I went to Cardiff, the capital of Wales. We spent the day shopping (Kine's a shopaholic) and having fun being away from school. We took the bus back to Harriett's and slept in late the next morning... it was beautiful!!
On Saturday I got to ride Harriett's thouroughbred mare, Diva. We went to the show jumping areana next door (very convenient) and I got to jump Diva over a jump that was just under 1 meter tall. It was so amazing! I'm so happy after my horse-fix.
Today and tomorrow are for relaxing and homework. Then we're all back at it on Tuesday. Next weekend's Halloween and I think we may organize something with the Americans and the weekend after I'll be going to London for the weekend to attend the Shared Planet Conference which is a big gathering of students to discuss world issues. I'm looking forward to everything! I'm so busy, sorry this is so short and to the point! I'll try to find time to write about things in more detail.
