Tour Choir Update

I found out last night at Choir practice...... In March when we go to Vienna for project week to perform, one of our concerts will be in the major UN agency there! We'll be performing for a bunch of diplomats and other officials! The other two concerts were to really big audiences (in numbers as well as importance!) as well but I've forgotten now where they were exactly... The capital building or something. Wow! I'm thrilled but completely terrified! How are we ever going to get ready in time??
By the way, Happy Halloween! Because its such an American holiday, the American students here have planned to celebrate tonight at midnight at the creepy old watch tower. I think we're going to tell ghost stories or something... Should be fun! If its not raining! We have codes cancelled for tomorrow morning so we get to sleep in... yay!
I worked lighting for the African National Evening on Sunday night for arts centre service. It was chaos! I've been told it always is though. I'm so disappointed by how National Shows are run here. At the American campus they are really amazing shows worth going to. Here they're thrown together that day and hardly anyone comes to see them. I should do something about it....
There are "potencial zero-years" here at the moment getting shown around the college. These are British students who are interested in attending a UWC next year. I get to help them tomorrow which should be fun considering I was in the same situation just a year ago... seems like forever!

Happy Halloween Everyone, don't get too sick with sweets!,
Malia
